Ojodu Council Boss, Odunmbaku Commission’s Medical Facilities At Ogba PHC

The citizens of Ojodu Local Council Development Area could not hide their joy as the Executive Chairman, Hon David Odunmbaku and his entourage commissioned the medical facilities (Centre for Mother and Child) magnanimously provided by the Rotary Club of Eko Atlantic (District 9110) to Ogba Primary Health Care Centre.

Since year 2019, the Rotary Club of Eko Atlantic has adopted Ogba PHC as the site for all its health related projects. This gestures have resulted into the donation of numerous health care services for the betterment and wellbeing of the citizens and residents of Ojodu LCDA.

While giving his remarks, Hon. Odunmbaku promised to optimally utilize all the medical facilities, which have further brought affordable and quality health care services closer to the masses in tandem with his H.E.Y.S agenda (Health, Education, Youth and Women Empowerment, Social Infrastructure).

“I’d like to emphatically stress that all equipment and facilities donated to us shall be put to optimal use for the betterment of the good people of Ojodu LCDA, as competent medical personnel will be employed to complement the State medical officials for effective monitoring and maintenance” the Mayor said.

The Mayor also hinted the gathering of the move to ensure 24hours health service delivery at all the Seven (7) PHCs within the LCDA, while soliciting for more Public-Private Partnership to actualize all the citizen-oriented initiative that will be mutually beneficial.

“Our Public-Private Partnership (PPP) initiatives are geared towards improving the quality of life of the masses which is one of the utmost responsibilities of any government. We look forward to upgrading this PHC to a 24Hours full-fledged hospital, and your incessant support would also go a long way to complement the State’s THEMES agenda” Odunmbaku expressed.

Among the dignitaries at the auspicious occasion were the Chairperson Mrs. Abimbola Odunmbaku, Vice Chairman, Hon. Bunmi Oluyadi, leader of the House, Hon. Opeyemi Apatira, Management staff, representatives from Lagos Primary Health Care Board (PHCB), Ministry of Health, Ministry of Environment; Rotary members including Hon. Rtn. Siva Subrananian (Group Managing Director, KEWALRAM CHANRAI GROUP), Rtn. Remi Bello (District Governor), Rtn. Mamta Deb Roy (Change Maker President, RCEA), Rtn. Adesola Bada (Director & Chair Community Service, RCEA), other Rotarians, citizens and residents of Ojodu LCDA.
