Ojodu LCDA Announces Proposed Revocation Of Selected Street Names

Posted on May 22, 2024

Ojodu LCDA wishes to inform the public of the proposed revocation of certain street names within our jurisdiction. This action has become necessary due to the persistent default on the payment of license renewal fees by the entities responsible for these streets.

Ojodu LCDA relies on these fees to maintain and improve our community infrastructures, ensuring that our roads and public spaces remain safe, clean, and functional for all residents. Non-compliance with the renewal requirements undermines our ability to provide these essential services.

The streets currently under consideration for revocation include:

1. COCOA INDUSTRY
2. METAL BOX
3. OSAYE STREET
4. BINTU STREET
5. FAGBA CRESCENT
6. BAALE STREET
7. ODOZIE STREET
8. ZINSOU STREET.
9. CLAM AVENUE
10. WILSON IHOYA LANE
11.ABESHIP AVENUE
12. VORY CLOSE
13. ISAAACTAN CLOSE
14. OJEI CLOSE
15. COVENANT CLOSE

Entities responsible for these streets are hereby notified to settle their outstanding dues within 7 days from the date of this announcement. Failure to comply will result in the revocation of the street name licenses, and the affected streets will be renamed.

We understand that this decision may cause inconvenience, but it is essential for the continued development and maintenance of our community. We urge all concerned parties to take immediate action to rectify their payment status.

For more information on how to make payments or to discuss this matter further, please contact the Ojodu LCDA Secretariat.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation on this matter.

Signed,

*Hon Segun Odunmbaku*
