Ojodu LCDA Chairman, Hon Segun Odunmbaku Inspects Ongoing Oluwole Containerised School, Football Field Projects

The Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Hon. Segun Odunmbaku, has inspected the ongoing construction of a containerised Secondary School building at Oluwole Estate, as well as the development of the Oluwole football field, reaffirming the administration’s commitment to expanding educational and recreational infrastructure across the council.

The containerised school project is being constructed by the Lagos State government following the facilitation and advocacy of the Ojodu LCDA Chairman. The project is designed to provide an improved learning environment for school children around the community and further strengthen access to quality education.

During the inspection, the Chairman who visited the site alongside the Vice Chairman, Hon Kafaya Layeni and his Chief of Staff Hon Olaide John Bello, assessed the progress of work and engaged with relevant stakeholders on measures required to ensure the timely completion and effective utilisation of the facility.

The chairman also doused the concerns of shop owners around the school whose structures will be affected by the project to
improve accessibility and safety around the facility noting that the government has their interest at heart and will provide a way of minimising their losses.

The Chairman and his entourage which included the Supervisor for Works, Hon. Dapo Adeoye and Supervisor For Health, Hon Seye Oyekan also inspected the ongoing construction of the Oluwole Football Field, a project being undertaken by Ojodu LCDA to provide residents, particularly young people, with a suitable recreational and sporting facility.

The two projects demonstrate the impact of collaboration between Ojodu LCDA and the Lagos State Government in delivering sustainable development at the grassroots. Through effective coordination and shared commitment, both levels of government continue to translate development priorities into tangible projects that benefit residents.
