In a significant step towards infrastructural development, Ojodu LCDA has commenced the laying of paving stones at the ongoing reconstruction of Odunmbaku Street and Adeshina-Adeniyi Oke Road.
This phase of the project marks substantial progress in the council’s commitment to improving road infrastructure and enhancing connectivity within the LCDA.
The reconstruction effort, spearheaded by the administration of Hon. Segun Odunmbaku, is aimed at providing residents with durable, flood-resistant and well-paved roads that will ease transportation and boost local economic activities.
Speaking on the development, Hon. Odunmbaku reiterated his administration’s dedication to delivering quality infrastructural projects that align with the T.H.E.M.E.S+ Agenda of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu. He emphasized that the use of paving stones would not only enhance the aesthetic appeal of the roads but also ensure longevity and better drainage, thereby mitigating the effects of erosion and flooding in the area.
Residents and business owners have expressed their appreciation for the project, noting that the improved road network will significantly enhance mobility and accessibility between Akiode and Okeira communities.
