Ojodu LCDA Commissions Model Public Toilet & Launches Youth Skills Empowerment Programme

Ojodu LCDA, Lagos State, has taken bold steps to enhance community welfare by commissioning a state-of-the-art public toilet and urinal facility at Ogba Bus Park. Alongside this, the council unveiled the Ojodu Youth Skills Empowerment Programme, demonstrating its dedication to infrastructure development and youth capacity building.

Constructed through a partnership with Cartel Furniture and Steel (CFS), the modern facility provided with Alternative Power Supply (Solar) is designed for durability and sustainability, reflecting the innovative leadership of Hon. Segun Odunmbaku’s administration.

Representing the Chairman, Hon. Opeyemi Apatira, Leader of The Legislative House, commended the council’s proactive approach, emphasizing the synergy between private-public collaborations in addressing community needs.

Stakeholders, including the Transport Union Chairman, Comrade Gbenga Olowolafe and Site Engineer, Mr Lukman expressed gratitude for the initiative. The youth skills programme aims to equip young residents with marketable technical skills, reinforcing the administration’s focus on fostering economic growth, empowering youth and ensuring a cleaner more sustainable Ojodu LCDA.
