Ojodu LCDA: Hon. Apatira Emerges 5th Assembly Legislative Leader

The Councillor representing Oluwole-Ogba Ward A in Ojodu LCDA, Hon. Opeyemi Apatira, has emerged the Legislative Leader of the Ojodu Council, Lagos State.


Having dissolved the 4th Assembly, the Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Hon. David Olusegun Odunmbaku, by the power vested in him declared active and inaugurated the 5th Assembly of the Legislative Arm of the Council with the six Councillors sworn into office.

After due documents have been assented to by the newly sworn in Council members, the House session took place with the principal officials emerging as follows:

* Hon. Opeyemi Apatira – Leader of the house

* Hon. Lekan Peters – Deputy Leader

* Hon. Bola Lawal – Majority Leader

* Hon. Gbenga Opebi – Chief Whip

* Hon. Iyanda Kazeem – Member

* Hon. Olumide Akinade – Member

In his inaugural and acceptance speech, the newly sworn-in leader, Hon. Apatira, appreciated all stakeholders for their contributions towards his success and emergence while he emphasised that there is no victor nor vanquished.
