Ojodu LCDA Skills Acquisition Participants Visits Hon. Odunmbaku

Yesterday, the participants undergoing skills acquisition training by the administration of Hon Segun Odunmbaku, visited the Mayor to show appreciation and also present assorted products that was made through the skills gained at the training.

The participants lauded the administration of Hon Segun Odunmbaku for providing the capacity building programme that has enabled them acquire skills to startup small scale businesses and they showcased the various products ranging from textiles design (tie and die), soaps (liquid and bar), disinfectants and air fresheners.

Hon Segun Odunmbaku, in his speech appreciated the studious and industrious
character of the participants throughout the training and encouraged them to be fastidious regarding deploying their acquired skills to generate income and create wealth.

He also promised to provide Business Management Training to the participants after the skills acquisition programme so they can gain valuable knowledge in Branding and Value Addition regarding
Product Development that would improve perception and pricing for increase sales and profitability of their products.
The participants, who were part of hundreds trained in various skills comprising of Make Up, Gele Making, Adire, soap making, were led by the Supervisor For WAPA, Hon Folake Adams and HOD WAPA, Mrs Oluwa Oguntoyinbo for the presentation.
