Posted on November 30, 2025
The administration of Hon. Segun Odunmbaku has continued to strengthen community healthcare delivery as Ojodu LCDA has commenced its Geriatric Weekly Ward-Level Programme, bringing essential medical services directly to the doorsteps of elderly residents.

This last outreach held at Adeniyi-Oke / Ishola Bello Junction in Ward E witnessed a large turnout of senior citizens, who benefitted from a full range of healthcare services, including doctor consultations, nursing care, nutritional assessment, physiotherapy sessions, essential drugs distribution, ambulance support and referral services.

The initiative, designed to promote healthy aging and reduce barriers to medical access, underscores the council’s commitment to prioritising the wellbeing of the aged across all wards.

Residents commended the proactive gesture of the Odunmbaku-led administration, describing it as a timely and compassionate programme that brings quality healthcare closer to the people.
