Okada Rider, 42, In Police Net For Forceful S*xual Assault On Lady

A 42-year- old Okada rider, Emeka Onwusoroaka Christopher, has been arrested and charged before the Court in Imo State for allegedly forcing a lady to suck his dick and .

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the lady, who is a native of Umuokwara in Umueshi, Ideato South L.G.A, Imo State, narrated her awful experience.

“I am a student of Political Science at Imo State University. On September 30, 2020, after I closed from work (POS) around 6 pm, a friend of mine called me to visit him at Akwakuma by Ezeigodo Street.”

“On getting to Akwakuma Junction, I called a bike man and showed him the address. He agreed that he knew the location. I entered and he drove off. To my great surprise, he drove up to two hours and I started getting scared. Later, my friend called me and asked if I’ve gotten close. I told him the journey was becoming farther than expected. He screamed and asked me to give the bike man the phone. When I did, he told the bike man to return me back to the junction that he was coming to pick me up. The bike man accepted, yet he refused to go back.”

“Having gone to an extent, he stopped and told me that he wanted to ease himself. When we got down from the bike, he started walking towards me. I was afraid, so I ran away, shouting loudly. But no one came to my rescue. The man kept pursuing me until I lost strength and fell down, sustaining bruises. He asked me why I was running and where I had wanted to go. He took my Samsung phone and smashed my Tecno phone on the road due to the repeated calls from my friend.”

“He loosened his belt and brought out his penis and forced me to suck it, which I did until he ejaculated in my mouth. I wanted to spit the sperm out but he hit me on the head, commanding me to swallow it. After that, he asked me to spread my legs wide open. Before I could understand him, he held my legs and tore them apart. With the force of a wild animal, he came upon me and had sex with me without any protection.”

“He brutalized my vagina and my entire body. When he was done ravaging me, he wanted to leave me there in the bush but I begged him to take where I could get a taxi to my house. He grudgingly accepted to drop me at Ogbosisi Junction, on the condition not to utter a word on our way. But when I alighted at the junction, I used the last strength in me to shout “Thief ooo!, thief ooo!” and he sped off. The villagers pursued him and caught him.”

“One of the pursuers, who identified himself as military personnel, held the man on his throat, asking him what happened. The bike man narrated to him all the cruel things he did to me. The military man slapped him and handed him over to the villagers, who in turn handed him to the Police at Orji Police Station, Owerri. There, he was detained.”

“At the Police Station, the Police took photographs of my battered self and kept my soiled clothes in their custody. The Police asked my friend, who arrived by then, to take me to the Nigeria Police Hospital at Amakohia. There, a series of tests were conducted on me. One of the tests showed the presence of dead sperm in my system” the lady said.

The case is being championed by the Right and Welfare of Traumatized Wives and Youths Initiative (RAWTWAYI), which vowed to follow the case until justice is done.

Subsequently, Emeka has been arraigned before Owerri Magistrate’s Court 5 on two-count charges of alleged rape and robbery.

He was later remanded in prison by the Magistrate, pending legal advice from the office of the Directorate of Public Prosecution, and adjourned the case till 21st October, 2020.

The defendant risks life imprisonment if he is tried and found guilty before the Court over the alleged offence.
