Oluomo Gets More Support As Traditional Rulers Back Him For 2023 Ambition

The support base of Prince Idris Balogun, popularly known as Oluomo Kafata, is gaining momentum as he gets more support from two powerful traditional rulers in Alimosho to vie for the House of Representatives Federal Constituency 2023 in Lagos.
P.M.EXPRESS reports the two traditional rulers are Oba Babatunde Ogunronbi and Oba Gbadabiu Asiwaju, who stated that Oluomo has the right to contest for the position as the son of the soil.
Oba Ogunronbi stated that it was time for the Party leadership to consider giving elective position to the indigenes as was done during the period Asiwaju Bola Tinubu was the Governor.
He recalled that during the period, the indigenes were accommodated and positions were shared equitably for the interest of all.
Ogunronbi stated that he was not saying that the whole elective positions should be given to the indigenes alone but they have to be accommodated as the sons of the soil, noting that indigenes usually performed better because they know the needs of the community.
He commended Oluomo for declaring his interest and enjoined other indigenes to seek for elective positions in Alimosho and indeed in Lagos State.
Also Onikotun land, Oba Asiwaju spoke in the same manner and encouraged Oluomo to continue to mobilize people to gain more support.
Earlier, the stakeholders and the youths from Igando, Ikotun, Egbe-Idimu, Ipaja and Alimosho area of Federal Constituency have demystified the party leadership led by Alhaji Abdullahi Enilolobo and passed vote no confidence them. The Youths went ahead and formed a new group and appointed Engr Abiodun Akeem Ariori popularly known as Oganla of Isheri land as the chief mobilizer for the change mantra. They further endorsed Prince Balogun and passed vote of no confidence on the APC leadership led by Alhaji Enilolobo for decimating the Youths for the past 20 years they were in saddle of leadership.
Recently, the traditional rulers in Alimosho have also given their support to Oluomo as a popular choice in the area. He has accepted the offer and stated he had always identified with the people despite the class and assisted many in various ways because the leaders had abandoned the youths in Alimosho.
He promised that he will not abandon the people if he eventually emerges and wins the election. He said for fairness that the Party leadership should step aside for another set of leaders to emerge in order to move Alimosho forward.
Prince Balogun was accompanied by some stakeholders including the Youths when he went to solicit for the support of the Royal Majesties for change in Alimosho occasioned by bad leadership for several years.
