Founder of Nigeria Impact Awards, Omooba Damilare Oloyede has extolled the Midas touch of newly appointed coordinator of the awards, Emeka Nwaneri, saying the fifth NIA is becoming a five star event by the day.

Omooba Oloyede made this assertion while speaking with newsmen after a closed door meeting with members of the central planning committee in Lagos.

“Our new coordinator has upped the game of this award; he has brought good virtues and maintained, sustained and consolidated the credibility of the impact rewarding platform,” he said.

The founder described Nwaneri as a man poised to create a five star expression for the 5th edition of the annual awards.

“If you keenly watch what Nwaneri has done in the last one week, you will see that by November, Nigerians will be having the fifth edition of NIA in a five-star expression – he has promised to shock us all with the choice of theme lecture, guest speaker and venue in Lagos,” Oloyede said when asked about his assessment of Emeka since his appointment.

NIA released the nominations of the 5th edition Monday, 22 August and the voting buzz is spreading as politicians, business moguls and entertainers as well as social workers keep mobilizing for votes.

Omooba Oloyede conceived the idea of the NIA in 2012, but appointed Emeka Nwaneri as its coordinator barely a month ago.
