ONC Pays Courtesy Visit To Chairman Of Ekpeye Oil & Gas Host Communities Landlords Association, Comrade Chidi Dogini

Notable Niger Delta socio-cultural group, Orashi National Congress, ONC, has paid a heartwarming courtesy call to the Chairman of Ekpeye Oil & Gas Host Communities Landlords Association, Comrade Chidi Dogini.

 

 

The ONC delegation, ably led by the President General, Amb Comrade Emeni Ibe, paid the visit on Tuesday 21st October, 2025, in Ahoada.

Speaking during the visit, Amb. Emeni Ibe said, “On behalf of the good people of Orashi Region in Rivers State which comprises Abua/Odual, Ahoada East, Ahoada West and Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Areas of Rivers State, we extend our best wishes to you on this historic visit. We have the mandate of the Executive Council and the entire membership of the congress to pay this visit in order to synergize with you and to intimate you on our forthcoming programmes especially the second edition of the Orashi Peace, Unity and Security summit etc, wherein we request you to be the Chairman of the occasion”.

“We lack words to express our profound gratitude, but all we can say is a big thank you and you can rest assured of our continued cooperation in appreciation and recognition of your good works over the years. The Congress acknowledges your moral and financial support during the First Edition of the Summit, hence we resolved to confer on you the prestigious position of a Patron/Adviser and we believe that you can assist the Congress by including some of our members from Oil and Gas Host Communities in any benefit.”

“We appeal to you to use your good position to partner with us to achieve set objectives of promoting peace, unity and development in the region and we seek your cooperation with us on our forthcoming Second Edition of the Orashi Peace, Unity and Industrial Harmony campaign summit schedule to hold on the 21st November, 2025, in Ahoada Town.”

“We also want to partner with you against pipeline vandalism and crude oil theft within Orashi Region. We plead with you to carry us along in your noble activities. We also appeal to you for moral and financial support in the area of publicity, etc. Thank you for granting us our request for this audience. God bless you” Ambassador Ibe concluded.

 

Comrade Chidi Dogini, in his remarks, commended the ONC for the good job they are doing in sensitisation of young people against criminal activities. While accepting their requests, Comrade Dogini promised to contribute his part towards the progress and welfare of the Congress.

Dogini also charged the ONC to continue to remain law-abiding, shun cultism, pipeline vandalism and other negative activities. He equally promised to grace the forthcoming 2nd edition of Orashi Peace, Unity and Security Summit being organised by the ONC.
