ONC Presents Award Of Honour To DSP Lawrence Ogoke

On 6th March, 2024, the ONC on behalf of the Orashi Region – Abua/Odual, Ahoada East, Ahoada West, Ogba/Egbema /Ndoni Local Government Areas of Rivers State, registered their deepest appreciation for the successes recorded in the Division since the assumption of office by Mr. Ogoke as the DPO.

The ONC, led by the President General, Snr. Comrade Emeni Ibe, used the opportunity the visit afforded to express their confidence in the efficiency of the Police and other security agencies to see to the protection of lives and property in the Orashi Region. The group equally appreciated the Commissioner of Police, CP Tunji Disu, the Nigerian Army, the Executive Chairman of Abua-Odual Local Government Area and the Rivers State Government as ably led by His Excellency Sir Siminalayi Fubara.

Speaking during the visit, Snr. Comrade Emeni Ibe said, “The leadership and ever committed members of the Orashi National Congress wish to use this visit to recognise and deeply appreciate Mr. Lawrence Ogoke for his incomparable efforts as the Best Divisional Police Officer in Abua and Orashi Region”.

“We assure him of our continued support and cooperation in his bid to ensure a drastic reduction of crime in our region. The Award of Honour is therefore, our way of showing appreciation and encouragement to do more for the safety of lives and properties in Orashi Region.”
