ONC Set To Hold World Press Conference On Restoration Of Democratic Governance In Rivers

Apex Niger Delta socio-cultural group, Orashi National Congress, ONC, is set to hold a World Press Conference on the urgent need to restore democratic governance in Rivers State. 
The President General of the Congress, Amb Comrade Emeni Ibe, made the disclosure to newsmen in Port Harcourt on Wednesday 23rd April, 2025.
According to the ONC PG, the press conference tagged “Appealing For The Restoration of Democratic Governance & Lifting of The Suspension In Rivers State”, is slated for 1st May, 2025, at Omoku Civic Centre, at 11am prompt.
Amb. Ibe said, “It has become expedient for Orashi National Congress to address the world on the need to restore democratic governance in our beloved state, Rivers State”.
“Rising from an emergency meeting in Port Harcourt, the leadership of the Congress made the decision to address the situation and convey the feelings of the Rivers people on the continued state of emergency with the suspension of democratically elected individuals. We are therefore, inviting the ladies and gentlemen of the Press on 1st of May, 2025, at Omoku Civic Centre.”
