‘One Minute Robbers’ Busted By Police During Operation

Police operatives at Aswani Division led by CSP Francess Oyin, has busted a deadly armed robbery gang known as ‘one million robbers’ who had been terrorising residents of Isolo area of Lagos.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the bandits were repelled along Osolo way at Aswani Market in Isolo area of Lagos, while they were robbing innocent people including motorists in broad daylight with no regard for Police operatives in the area.
However, when the Police received information, they moved to the area, repelled their and arrested some of the suspects while others escaped and were at large.
The arrested suspects included Wale Kolawole, 19, Owolabi Fatai, 22 and Riliwan Rufai, 19.
After interrogation, the three arrested suspects were later arraigned before the Isolo Magistrates Court for conspiracy to manage unlawful society known as ‘No Salary’, causing violence, intimidating innocent persons and robbing them.
One of victims was one Okeyanju Adeyinka, who the bandits were said to have smashed his vehicle glass, stole his phone and other valuables. He reported to the Police and the operatives moved to the scene of operation.
The suspects pleaded guilty.
The prosecutor, Mr Oje Uagbale then asked the Court to fix a date for facts and sentence since they pleaded guilty to enable the Police to prove that they actually committed the offence.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. O.A.Teluwo, adjourned the matter till 4th November, 2019, when the prosecutor will present the facts and they will be sentenced accordingly.
