Ooni Commiserates With Lagos & Ojora Family Over Death Of Otunba Adekunle Ojora

The Permanent Chairman of the Southern Nigeria Traditional Rulers Council (SNTRC) Olofin Adimula and the Natural Head of the Oduduwa race worldwide, the Ooni of Ife, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, CFR, Ojaja II, has commiserated with the Government and people of Lagos State, the Ojora Family, and associates of Otunba Adekunle Ojora, the Lisa of Ife and Otunba of Lagos, who passed away in the early hours of Wednesday at the age of 93.
In a statement on Wednesday signed by the Director of Media and Public Affairs, Ooni’s Palace, Otunba Moses Olafare, the Ooni described the death of the renowned industrialist and business mogul as a monumental loss to Yoruba land and the nation at large.
The Ooni who is also the Permanent Co-Chairman of the National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria (NCTRN) noted that the late Otunba Ojora was not only a revered traditional title holder but also a distinguished entrepreneur whose contributions to commerce, industry and national development left lasting legacies across generations.

“Otunba Adekunle Ojora was a bridge-builder, a visionary leader and a father figure whose life exemplified service, integrity and commitment to the growth of the nation,” the Ooni said.
The Ooni also extended his condolences to Mrs. Toyin Ojora-Saraki, daughter of the deceased and wife of former Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, as well as other members of the Ojora family, praying that God grants them the fortitude to bear the loss.
He prayed for the peaceful repose of the soul of the departed patriarch, adding that his legacy of excellence, entrepreneurship and traditional service would continue to inspire future generations.
