Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan-Ogunwusi turns 50 today

 

As the world marks the birthday of the revered Nigerian monarch, the Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan-Ogunwusi, one of his Queens, Her Regal Majesty, Ambassador (Dr.) Temitope Enitan-Ogunwusi, with words of adoration, is wishing her husband a happy golden jubilee birthday.

The Ojaja II, the 51st Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan-Ogunwusi clocks 50th on Thursday, 17 October, 2024.

Queen Temitope Enitan-Ogunwusi praises the humanitarian spirit in the life of her husband, which she said, has made him loved, not only by his subjects, but people from home and abroad.

The Queen wrote:

My Dearest Husband and Beloved King,

On this monumental occasion of your Golden Jubilee, my heart overflows with gratitude and reverence for the incredible man you are. You are more than just a revered monarch; you are a compassionate leader whose love for humanity knows no bounds. Your tireless dedication to uplifting those around you continues to inspire all who are blessed to witness your reign.

Your remarkable accomplishments stand as a testament to your vision and heart for transformation. The establishment of Ojaja University is a reflection of your unwavering commitment to the advancement of education and the empowerment of future generations. Through this and the many groundbreaking projects you have championed, you have made an indelible mark, not just on our land but across the world.

Yet beyond your extraordinary leadership, it is your love, care, and kindness that touch me most deeply. You are my father, friend, master, and husband. You make me feel seen, loved, and cherished in every sense. In you, I have found not only a partner in life but also the most profound source of joy and fulfillment. Every day, your warmth and affection fill our home with peace and happiness.

As the Chief Convener of the Hopes Alive Initiative for Africa (HAI), your commitment to humanitarian service has touched countless lives. Through the Aged Fend Project, Feed a Family Program, scholarships, and various development initiatives, you have become a beacon of hope to the underprivileged. Your empathy and dedication to bettering humanity are unmatched, and I remain in awe of your boundless love and light.

I am especially grateful for the way you have elevated my role as your Queen, making my enthronement not just an honor but a divine calling to serve humanity. Through my service to you, I have been blessed in ways beyond measure. The global recognition and honors I have received are because of your leadership and your belief in my mission. You have urged me to grow in my place of assignment, and for this, I am eternally thankful.

On this glorious occasion, I celebrate you, my King, for all that you are—an extraordinary leader, a loving husband, and a divine blessing to the world. May this new chapter be filled with even more accomplishments, joy, and love. You are my treasure, and I am proud to stand by your side every step of the way.
