Orashi National Congress Leadership Holds End-Of-Year Party

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the party took place at Akabuka town, Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government area of Rivers State.

It was an opportunity for the ONC leadership to appreciate God for a successful year 2024.

The organization, ably led by its proactive President General, Snr Comr Amb Emeni Ibe AP, JP; enumerated some of its achievements in the year 2024 to include; successful identification of the organization with all the first class traditional rulers in the Orashi region; direct collaboration with traditional rulers and all security agencies in the region and Rivers State to restore peace in the oil and gas rich zone; successful minimization of pipeline vandalism, cultism activities and other social vices in the area; successful visitation of the leadership of some deadly shrines to discourage the ilicit act of secret surmons that has led to the untimely death of our people, to mention but a few.

The one of a kind occasion also saw the formal inauguration and induction of Dr Davis Ojima as the Deputy President/Chairman ONELGA chapter to oversee and coordinate the affairs of the ONC in ONELGA.

A 13-member committee was also inaugurated at the event and saddled with the responsibility to plan and coordinate the formal investiture of their beloved golden mother and Deputy Governor of River State, Professor Mrs. Ngozi Nma Odu DSSRS, as Grand Matron of ONC and Golden Mother of Orashi.

The leadership of the Orashi National Congress also passed a vote of confidence on the Executive Governor of Rivers State, Sir Siminalayi Fubara and the Orashi LGAs Chairmen for good governance. The group also appreciated the Traditional leadership and security agencies in the region for providing guidance to ensure peace and security.

“While extending our cooperations to our people appointed into State and Federal government positions and the multi-nationals operating in Orashi Region, we look forward to a better and more progressive 2025. The event ended on a resounding note with a brief visit to the country home of the Deputy Governor at Akabuka.
