Orashi National Congress Pays Solidarity Visit To High Chief Chibudom Nwuche

Respected socio-cultural group in the Niger Delta Region, Orashi National Congress, ONC, has paid a solidarity visit to High Chief (Prince) Chibudom Nwuche, the Ekpeye Logbo of Ekpeye Ethnic Nationality.
The visit was led by the ONC President General, Snr. Comrade Emeni Ibe.
According to the group, the visit was to identify with the former Deputy Speaker and convey the appreciation of the Orashi region, which comprises of Ahoada East, Ahoada West, Abua Odual, Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni LGAs, to the Honorable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory and former Governor of Rivers State, HE Chief Barr. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, for his leadership disposition.
Speaking during the visit on behalf of the ONC, Snr. Comrade Emeni Ibe said, “We wish to use the opportunity afforded by this visit to pledge our cooperation and total support to HE Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Federal Republic of Nigeria. We are here to identify with you as an illustrious son and leader of the Orashi Region, Rivers State and extend our loyalty and support to the Honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Chief Barr. Nyesom Wike”.

“The Orashi National Congress is an independent socio-cultural umbrella organization of Orashi people, whose aims and objective among others are the advocation for sustainable security and preaching of peace, national unity and justice particularly to enlighten and mobilize Orashi people to always use dialogue in resolving conflicts and consulting with security agencies.”

 

“We in the ONC target and focus to contribute our quota towards bettering the society by creating a conducive industrial environment with the objective of actualizing the ideals of a better society and the reduction of crimes like cultism, pipeline vandalization, youth restiveness and terrorism etc.”
“On behalf of the leadership of the Orashi National Congress and the good people of Orashi Region, we express our solidarity and support and as well thank you for the audience.”
In his remarks, High Chief Nwuche praised and commended the group for preaching peace and security in the region with their different initiatives and strategic programmes.
He also assured the ONC of his support and challenged them to continue with their objectives of ensuring the peace and development of the Orashi region.
The ONC, in their usual drive to ensure peace and development, pleaded with the Executive Governor of Rivers State, HE Sir Siminalayi Fubara, not to use the issues around political differences to shun the payment for jobs in Rivers State executed by the likes of Interglobal and other companies, which had certificate of payment already issued to them.
