Orashi National Congress Strongly Condemns Kidnap Of University Students

Apex Niger Delta socio-cultural group, the Orashi National Congress, ONC, has strongly condemned the kidnapping of five students of Rivers State University (RSU), Emohua campus.
The incident reportedly occurred on Tuesday, 2nd December, 2025, when unknown gunmen, suspected to be cultists, abducted the students from their off-campus residence in Emohua, Emohua Local Government Area, Rivers State.
The victims, identified as Sampson Chimenum, Precious Onyebuchi, Azubuike Kenechukwu, Prince Sampson, and another student, were taken at gunpoint with a security dog shot dead during the abduction.
Speaking on the ugly development, Amb Comrade Emeni Ibe (JP AP), President General of the Orashi National Congress said, “We wish to use this medium to condemn in strongest terms the kidnapping of students of the Rivers State University”.
“We therefore, call on the Rivers State Police Command to intensify efforts, launch manhunt for the abductors and deploy tactical teams to ensure the safe rescue of the students.”
“We call on the Government to work closely with the security agencies to uncover the perpetrators and ensure they are made to face the law.”
“We join the university community and concerned citizens in calling for the immediate and safe release of the abducted students.”
