Orezi: New Music, Big Moves

Posted on February 10, 2025
Nigerian singer Orezi, born Esegine Allen, is making waves once again, determined to reclaim his spot at the top of the Afrobeats scene.
Since November 2024, he has been on a relentless streak, dropping new music and making major moves in the industry.
In November, Orezi teamed up with South African artist PCEE for a remix of his hit single I Swear, blending Nigerian and South African sounds.
The official video, shot in South Africa, is now out, further amplifying the track’s reach.
This release followed the success of his EP Chocolate Daddy, which featured collaborations with Tekno, Sheebah, and Daphne, showcasing his versatility.
Orezi recently returned to Nigeria from the United Kingdom, where he spends most of his time now. And he wasted no time reconnecting with fans.
Last week Sunday, February 3, he delivered a high-energy performance at Club Vogue, signaling his full-fledged return to the music scene.
Looking ahead, Orezi has announced plans to drop a new album this year. But before that, he will keep fans engaged with a steady stream of singles, ensuring that 2025 is the year he takes his rightful place at the top of Afrobeats.
