Oru East & West LGAs Play Host To Zonal APC Leadership During Town Hall Meeting With Renewed Commitment To Re-Elect Uzodimma

Since grassroots mobilization is one of the critical elements in all successful political campaign plans and strategies, Orlu Zonal leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has set the pace in the state to be the first to raise the bar of awareness for political  consultation, sensitization and moblization of the electorate through engaged town hall meetings in the Imo West Senatorial District, ahead November 11, 2023 Governorship election.

During his introductory speech, the soft speaking but proactive Orlu Zonal Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Hon. Barr. Kelvin Ugwu; a boardroom political strategist, unveiled the essence of the town hall meeting with APC party faithful and supporters across Imo Orlu Zone, while re-emphasizing the need to thoroughly  screen functional ward and booth executives as to assign them offices  rather than those who work on proxy and still occupy positions and space for others.

In lieu of the Zonal Chairman’s opening speech, Kelvin Ugwu, in a separate remark, the ranking Deputy Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly; member representing Nwangele Constituency and the hightest political office holder in Imo West Senatorial District, Rt. Hon. Amara Chyna Iwuanyanwu, KSC, while commending the good people of Oru East and Oru West Local Government areas for conducting themselves well during the town hall meeting, said November 11, 2023, is an Orlu Project: as they have decided to deliver Orlu Zone 100% for Governor Hope Uzodimma.

While passionately appealing to them to start massive mobiliziation for the re-election bid of Governor Hope Uzodimma ahead November 11, 2023 governorship election in Imo State, the Deputy Speaker, Amara Iwuanyanwu, however, lent credence to the early directive of the APC Orlu Zonal Chairman, Hon. Barr. Kelvin Ugwu, wherein he urged the party leadership in each Local Government area across Imo West Senatorial District to thoroughly revalidate the current positions of the various Ward Chairmen with their secretaries, the ward and booth executives in their respective INEC Wards.

In their separate remarks, the duo of Chief Whip of the Imo State House of Assembly; member representating Oru East Constituency,  Rt. Hon. Chigozie Nwaneri and his Oru West Constituency counterpart, Hon. Barr. Hon Dominic Ezerioha alongside the stakeholders of Oru nation commended the powerful delegation and entourage of the Orlu Zonal leadership of the All Progressives Congress on their robust and engaging  town hall meetings with party faithful and supporters across the 12 LGAs in Imo West Senatorial District, restating the total commitment of ndi Oru East and Oru West to give their son, Governor Hope Uzodimma, 100% unalloyed support in the November 11, 2023 governorship election.

According to Nwaneri, the November 11, 2023 gubernatorial election, is a door-to- door task for every family in the Oru Nation to re-elect their son, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma,  to continue with his good works for accelerated development in Imo State.

In the light of the foregoing, the trio of Imo Commissioner for Works, Chief Barr. Ralph Nwosu, Special Adviser to Governor Hope Uzodimma, on Political Matters, Hon. Barr. Enyinnaya Onuegbu  alongside Deputy Chief of Staff to the Imo State Government House, Owerri, Hon. Barr. Emeka Agbo, in galvanizing grassroots supports for the re-election bid of Uzodimma, highlighted in strong terms a number of remarkable inroads the Imo governor has made on the political turf of Nigeria as a mainstream key player in the national leadership discuss of the APC -Federal Government led Administration, while setting an impressive pace for radical road construction and infrastructural revolution in the New Imo as they unambiguously affirmed that:  “The reward for good work, is more work”.

A paragon of beauty and an amazon of a woman, Imo Commissioner for Humanitrian Affairs; Dr. Princess Rabbi Ibrahim, MON, while leading the women support group alongside Mrs. Maureen Chimara, chanted enthralling political songs for the re-election bid of Governor Hope Uzodimma as they pledged total support for a second term in office.

The Imo State APC Organizing Secretary and a former Commissioner for Science and Technology, Hon. Ikechukwu Umeh, has never been found wanting on his official duty post and social  engagements as he kept electrifying the town hall meetings of the party across the 12 LGAs in the Imo West Senatorial District; Orlu zone, with issues of the moment, educative jokes while announcing the agenda for the political August visit.

From Nkwerre LGA down to Nwangele; Njaba and Isu LGA; Oru East and Oru West; the town hall meetings and community engagements with APC faithful, supporters and critical stakeholders have been quite  impressive with combined efforts of the LGA Sole Administrators, elected members of the Imo State House of Assembly from the ruling All Progressives Congress as Rt. Hon. Amara Chyna Iwuanyanwu and Hon. Barr. Kelvin Ugwu, lead the tour.

The highpoint of the event was the massive defection of members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in both Oru East and Oru West LGAs, who destroyed their umberalls having been thoroughly beaten under the rain and in the sun as a result of the internal leadership crisis and political jigsaw ravaging the Imo PDP, as they collectively received a new identity of the APC’s brooms and political baptism supervised by Orlu Zonal Chairman of the party, Hon. Barr. Kelvin Ugwu, Rt. Hon. Chigozie Nwaneri, Deputy Chief of Staff, Hon. Barr. Emeka Agbo, Hon. Chief  Felix Onuba (Hugo Boss), Sole Administrators of Oru East and Oru West LGAs respectively, among other LGA leaders.
