Before closing his eyes in death at the Osun State University Teaching Hospital Osogbo (formerly LAUTECH Teaching Hospital), Mr Adeyemo was a Chief Reporter in OSBC and Chairman of the OSBC Chapel of the Nigerian Union of Journalists, Osun Council, where he invested strategic efforts towards the growth of the Chapel.

The Government of the State of Osun is pained by the loss of not just one of its sons but also another of its finest professionals in the media industry.

The government expressed its condolences to the family of the deceased, the entirety of the journalism family in Osun State and in Nigeria as a whole, and to the management and staff of OSBC; and prayed that God grants Mr Adeyemo’s family and friends the fortitude to bear the loss.
