Oyo State Govt Engages Investors On Land Title Regularization

The Oyo State Government on Tuesday, engaged about Twenty-four private investors to educate them on the importance of obtaining legal land titles.

The engagement exercise held under the supervision of the Commissioner for Lands, Housing and Urban Development, Mr. Williams Akin-Funmilayo at Secretariat, Ibadan focused on the benefits of proper land documentation.

Mr. Akin-Funmilayo said that the Oyo State government is ready to integrate the investors into its economic expansion drive.

He added that the integration of the investors would give them the opportunity to add value to the development of the state through infrastructure and other projects.

He said that “securing legal land titles is essential for you, as investors and the Oyo State Government. It will facilitate seamless development and ensure accurate archival records for future reference.”

The commissioner expressed the readiness of the state government to support any genuine investor in boosting the economy of the state.

Commending the Oyo State Government for its efforts in streamlining the land regularization process, Mr. Adesina Ojelade, expressed their readiness to comply with the state’s guidelines.

He assured that they would take the necessary steps to formalize their land ownership in line with government regulations.
