Oyo Water Corporation Rehabilitates Pipeline To End Secretariat Water Scarcity

The Water Corporation of Oyo State has commenced the rehabilitation of the water pipeline supplying potable water to the Oyo State Government Secretariat, Agodi, Ibadan to permanently address the long standing water scarcity within the Secretariat and its environs.

 

The Executive Chairman of the Corporation, Hon. Elias Adeojo, disclosed this during a meeting with the team of engineers of the Corporation assigned to the project in his office.

 

Hon. Adeojo commended the engineers for their dedication and efforts in resuscitating the water supply to the Government House, which had been non functional for several years prior to the administration of Governor Seyi Makinde.

 

He added that upon completion of the rehabilitation, all business establishments and offices operating around the Secretariat Complex will also benefit from the restored water supply.

 

The Chairman reaffirmed the commitment of the present administration under Engr. Seyi Makinde to ensuring that residents across the State have access to clean and safe water before the end of his second term in office.
