PDP Will Win 90% Of Votes In Anambra State & Across The South East – Uloka Chukwubuikem Declares

Posted on December 20, 2022

With the expectation of capturing 90% of the vote in Anambra and the entire south-east, the PDP begins a vigorous grassroots campaign.

With less than seventy days to the presidential election in Nigeria, the Deputy Director Media and Publicity for the Atiku-Okowa campaign in Anambra state, Uloka Chukwubuikem, has declared that the PDP party will win 90 percent of the votes in the state and across the South East.

Uloka disclosed this to selected journalists in Awka, Anambra State, noting that with the level of work done so far by the party and the Professor Obiora Okonkwo-led Presidential campaign management committee and the feelers it generates from the grassroots, the party will win from top to bottom.

Some few months ago, the PDP party was not sure it would get a paltry 10% of the votes in Anambra State and other south-eastern states, but today, given the leadership of Professor Obiora Okonkwo and the management committee, the party membership and support base have overwhelmed the naysayers, and the election in Anambra State today is now between the PDP and other parties framed together as one.

Uloka noted that none of the other political parties can come close to the strength of the PDP going into the polls in February, and as such, they are not fit to be mentioned as stand-alone parties but should be joined together if they attempt to close the margin that the PDP would poll in the state.

If the election of who succeeds Muhammadu Buhari is conducted today, we are most certain and comfortable that Atiku Abubakar and the PDP will sweep votes in the south-east and no party will come close to the margin of the PDP party.

“The visit of Atiku to Anambra State to kickoff the south-east presidential rally has shown people how much work we have done at the grass-roots level and what the reactions of the people have been.” “Never in the history of politics has any party in any state declared for themselves a voluntary work-free day to honor their presidential candidate, but in Anambra State, we did not only observe the work-free day but also expressed our willingness to help the Atiku-Okowa ticket recover and rescue Nigeria.”

I can confirm that Atiku Abubakar’s visit and rally in Awka changed the narratives and opinions of bystanders. In the last week, we have received into the PDP over 6,000 faithfuls from across other political parties, with more than 50,000 others set to formally collapse their structures and join the Atiku-Okowa movement in Anambra State.

This is to highlight the level of work done so far by the Professor Obiora Okonkwo-led management committee, who took the campaign to the doorsteps of every individual, group, and organization.

In Anambra State today, the streets are littered with converts who have seen the need to support a widely accepted candidate and not kowtow to emotions and sentiment to waste their votes as few would suggest.

Our people are very passionate about politics; they are organic when it comes to support, and if for any reason they get convinced, you can’t tell them otherwise. All along, they have been manipulated and misled by those who were camouflaging to be an Igbo presidential candidate, but today, they have seen and accepted the truth that no ethnic group and single religious body can produce the President of Nigeria alone, except through strategic alliance and collaboration, and they have surrendered their support for the most popular, competent, and acceptable candidate in the person of Atiku Abubakar, GCON.

“Many of our people, who were earlier not political or belonged to other parties, have assigned themselves the responsibility of reaching out to other persons in the rural areas to sell the candidacy of Atiku Abubakar and preach the sermon of the PDP recovery plan.”

In Anambra and other South-East states, our party will cruise home to victory from top to bottom with candidates who have done their home work well, like we on the Presidential Management Committee have done. Soon, many opinion polls will recant their earlier lopsided polls and reflect the yearnings of the people in the South East and across Nigeria with the sweeping hurricane of the Atiku-Okowa ticket. Uloka said.

In the South-East, and especially in Anambra State, the PDP party remains the party to beat in the February poll. There’s no single doubt anywhere, and the people are the chief drivers of the project. No one will be allowed to deceive our people or hoodwink them into political sabotage to cripple the South East for another 16 years of opposition in politics.
