Peter Obi Cannot Win Spread In Entire North, He’s Just A Pretender In The Presidential Race

I understand the euphoria of newly political enthusiasts, the majority of whom are young Nigerians; do not blame their naivety. They frequently believe that everything revolves around their delusions and social media escapades, which have also cumulated into a noisy and inconsequential One Million Man March. They had no idea that politics and election globally transcends social trends and emotions. At the very least, 2015 taught many of us some harsh lessons. While Buhari and others were collapsing structures and conspiring with the elites for power, many were marching for Jonathan’s re-election under the scorching sun of Lagos and other Southern states. In the end, power is an elites conspiracy, and Buhari got the better bargain.

It’s unfortunate that these Peter Obi supporters believe that they alone want a working nation; they therefore, pass off many of us with different perspectives and better arguments on what’s best for Nigeria in 2023 as political jobbers afraid of losing their source of income. (Laughable).

Again, politics around the world is about structures and other factors which bothers on elites conspiracy and bargains, Nigeria cannot be an exception. I’m sure they’d argue what the hell structure is, and vice versa. Many of us would still be here to question them about the election results, but not without some serious consequences.

Peter Obi is well-liked, and his supporters are numerous and loud. However, they should not consider themselves to be in the majority in comparison to those who have chosen to play by the rules and let their actions speak louder when the chips are down. “Obidients” make up less than 10% of Nigeria’s voting population.

I’m worried about the South East, which may become the biggest losers if their elites don’t get to work; if they don’t, we’ll be doomed to the same fate as Jonathan in 2015, and power will be shared among those zones that played their cards right and aligned themselves with the pendulum.

Peter Obi, as a pretender and wildcard, will finish third in the 2023 election, trailing the PDP and APC, who are the real contenders.

“Peter Obi will fail to achieve the constitutionally required spread in the North West and North East States, and he will fail to win a single state in the North Central, South South and South West. I say this with haste and I am willing to place a wager.”

You all Obidients can go ahead with your illusions, but the negotiation for power is a serious Business and devoid of any illusion.
