Amidst the wicked rumours of his purported death and the denouncement by his Senior Special Assistant on media, Mallam Garba Shehu, a relaxed vacationing Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari has tweeted a picture of himself watching the popular Channels TV political programme, “Sunday Politics”.

Tweeting using his twitterhandle @MBuhari, the president said: “Wherever I am, I keep up with news from home. Channels TV is one of my favorites. I’m proud of what the Nigerian media are achieving.”

The Channels TV’s programme had as guests President Buhari’s ardent critic, Mr. Ayodele Fayose, Governor of Ekiti State and also President Buhari, Senior Special Adviser on media, Mr. Femi Adesina.

With the latest picture, many were finally at rest that the president is hale and hearty.

The president arrived United Kingdom last Thursday on a 10-day short leave as part of his annual vacation.

While on the short leave, the Vice President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo has been acting as President.
