Police Arrest Robbers After 4 Years

Four years after two suspects, Ismaila Oludosu and Monday Paul allegedly invaded Police Barracks, broke into an apartment, carted away properties and escaped, they have been arrested in Lagos.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened in 2014 at Federal Highway Patrol Barracks in Ikeja, Lagos where the victim, Mohammed Yusuf resided.
It was scooped that Oludosu and others at large stormed the barracks, broke into Yusuf’s apartment, carted away the properties worth over N500,000 and escaped. It was learnt that some of the stolen items were sold to the second suspect, Paul. He equally sold them, made profit and they continued their business.
The police alleged that Oludosu stole vehicles – a Toyota and Mercedes Benz ML, Paul received them from Oludosu knowing that they were stolen vehicles.
However, the police discovered that the vehicle were stolen, Paul was arrested and he mentioned Oludosu.
P.M.EXPRESS gathered that some other stolen items were also recovered from Paul and he said Oludosu was the supplier including some items stolen from Yusuf’s apartment.
They were arrested and detained at the police station.
The suspects were charged before the court and they pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Inspector Akeem Raji did not object to their bail condition.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mr. T.O Shomade granted the suspects bail in the sum of N200,000 with two sureties in like sum.
They were remanded in prison custody pending when they will perfect their bail condition.
