Police Begin Manhunt For Robbers Capturd By CCTV Camera During Operation

Police operatives at the Ikotun Division have began manhunt for robbers captured by the CCTV camera, who burgled a shop and carted away electronic goods worth millions of Naira and escaped. 
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident  first happened on 27th September, 2025. And having successfully looted the shop, the robbers returned on 28th October, 2025 but they were repelled by the Police personally led by the DPO, CSP Waheed Adebisi, during the operation.
The incident happened at the electronics shop located at Ikotun area of Lagos belonging to the owner (name withheld), after he had locked the shop and gone home.
According to the residents, the robbers have successfully looted the shop on the first operation and returned on the second operation. A distress call was received by the DPO, who personally led the operation. When the robbers sighted him and other Police officers, they managed to escape.
According to Police sources, the complainant locked the shop and went home on those two nights. The gang of robbers with assorted weapons invaded the shop, broke it and carted away the items.
However, the suspects did not know that there was surveillance footage camera that captured the suspects entering the premises and carting away the electronics.
The Police have since commenced investigation to arrest the suspects now at large and stated:
“The suspects are wanted in connection with a burglary that occurred on 27/09/2025 and 28/10/2025 at an Electronics shop, in Ikotun Area of Lagos Nigeria. Surveillance footage captured the suspects entering the premises and leaving with electronics.”
“We are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals shown in the photo/video below. Any person who provides information leading to the arrest of the burglary suspects will be heavily rewarded.
