Police Bust Armed Robbery Suspects, Recover Weapons & Vehicle During Operation

Operatives of the Zone 2 Command Headquarters in Lagos State, have busted suspected armed robbers who specialized in dispossessing innocent citizens of their valuables in Ogun State and its environs. 
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the suspects  Shola ‘m’, Pelumi ‘m’, Gbenga ‘m’, Zacchaeus ‘m’, Tunde ‘m’, and Saheed ‘m’  were apprehended following credible intelligence and swift Police action.
This was disclosed by the Zonal Police Public Relations, Officer, CSP Ayuba Umma, who confirmed the arrest of the suspects undergoing interrogation over their conduct.
She explained that their arrests followed a series of complaints received by the office of the Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone 2 Command, prompting the deployment of operatives from the Dragon Team to investigate, track, and apprehend the perpetrators.
“On the 5th of October, 2025, at about 2200hrs, the team traced the suspects to their hideout in the Ijebu Ode area of Ogun State, shortly after a robbery operation. The raid led to the arrest of the six suspects and the recovery of two locally made pistols, thirty live cartridges, and a wine-coloured Toyota Camry with registration number KNN 383 BU.”
She stated that the Assistant Inspector-General of Police, AIG Adegoke Fayoade, commended residents for their continued cooperation with law enforcement agencies and reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to maintaining a secure and peaceful environment in the Commands under Zone 2.
AIG Fayoade urged members of the public to remain vigilant and continue to provide useful information to the Police in the collective effort to build a safer society.
The image maker stated that the suspects will be charged before the Court for the alleged crimes but that will be after the conclusion of investigations by the Police.
