Police Nab Fake Medical Doctor

The police in Lagos have arrested a 39-year old primary school drop out, Mr. Abdulrahman Mohammed who had been operating as a medical doctor in Lagos.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the Borno State born Mohammed was arrested at 3 Bamishele Street in Idi-Araba, Mushin, Lagos where he used as office.

The suspect was among the criminal suspects paraded by the Lagos State  Commissioner of Police, Mr. Edgal Imohimi. The police boss said that following investigations into the activities of Mohammed, it was discovered that he stopped at primary school level even though there was no certificate to authenticate the claim.

CP Imohimi said that investigations further revealed that he had been practicing as a medical doctor since 2014 and had been administering intravenous injections, conducting medical tests on patients, checking their blood and urine.

The suspect confessed that he used to buy the drugs from Idumota market. Exhibits recovered from him included blood pressure reading machine, both electronic and manual types, syringes, drip infusion packs among others.

The CP said that the suspect will be charged to court after the conclusion of investigations. Meanwhile, the police boss has ordered his officers to arrest those dealing on illegal drugs where Mohammed claimed he got his supplies from, because it’s hazardous to the public.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that some criminal suspects were also arrested and paraded at the Ikeja Police Command. Those paraded were alleged criminal
elements involved in kidnapping, robbery, illegal brewery factory among others. The police equally recovered some arms as exhibits and they were displayed at the Police Command during the parade.
