Power Minister, Adelabu Expresses Shock Over Abisola Kola-Daisi’s Death, Condoles Husband, Ajimobi & Kola-Daisi Families

Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Mrs Abisola Kolapo Kola-Daisi, first daughter of our late former governor and political leader, Senator Abiola Ajimobi.

The Minister has also extended condolences to her husband, Kolapo Kola-Daisi, Her Excellency Mrs. Florence Ajimobi and Bashorun of Ibadanland, Chief Kola Daisi families, over the unfortunate incident.

A statement by Bolaji Tunji, Special Adviser, Strategic Communications and Media Relations to the Minister, quoted the Minister as saying the news came as a great shock to him.

He described her as a remarkable woman who embodied grace, kindness and quiet strength.

“As a sister and wife of my brother, an accomplished professional Kolapo Kola-Daisi, Abisola carried herself with dignity and poise. Beyond her notable family connections, she was a beautiful soul in her own right, a devoted mother, a caring family member, and a compassionate individual who touched lives through her warmth and generosity.

Excerpts from the condolence message reads: “This loss is particularly painful as it comes just a few years after the passing of her illustrious father, our leader. I can only imagine the depth of grief being experienced by Her Excellency, Mrs Florence Ajimobi, her siblings, her husband, and most especially her young children who have lost their mother at such a tender age”.

To the Ajimobi family, I say: The legacy of Senator Ajimobi lives on through his children, and though Abisola’s time with us was cut short, she made her mark through her kindness and the love she shared with all around her.

To the Kola-Daisi family, I pray that Almighty Allah grants you the fortitude to bear this untimely loss.

In this moment of darkness, I pray that God’s light will comfort you all. May you find solace in the beautiful memories Abisola left behind and in the knowledge that she lived a life of impact, though brief.

To her children, may you grow up to embody the virtues of both your mother and your grandfather – integrity, compassion and excellence. May Allah SWT protect and guide you all your days.

May Almighty Allah grant Abisola Al-Jannah Firdaus and give the family the strength to bear this painful loss. May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
