Posted on June 29, 2026

The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has gifted a fully furnished house, seven vehicles, and other items to members of the church during the church’s 2026 mid-year thanksgiving programme.

The event took place on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at the church premises. Many of the beneficiaries said they did not expect to receive the gifts during the service.

Vehicles and other gifts

According to attendees, one beneficiary arrived at the service with his wife in a salon car and received the keys to a brand-new Toyota SUV. Primate Ayodele was said to have asked the couple to make a donation to the church, returned the money to them with additional cash, and then presented the vehicle keys.

Another recipient, described as a close supporter of the ministry who had received a vehicle from the prophet in the past, was asked to hand over his car keys during the programme. The vehicle was given out to another member, while the supporter was presented with the keys to a newer Toyota vehicle.

Two pastors were also presented with vehicles during the programme. One received a Mercedes-Benz, while the other received a Lexus SUV.

The church also held an empowerment raffle. Participants who had N1 million were entered into a draw for a vehicle valued at about N7 million.

Four participants were named as winners, and each received a vehicle.

House presented to senior church official

The major gift of the day was a Certificate of Occupancy, C of O, for a fully furnished house in Lagos, which Primate Ayodele presented to the church’s second-in-command.

The presentation drew reactions from the congregation.

Subsidised items and other support

As part of the church’s subsidy market initiative, essential food items were sold at reduced prices to members and residents.

A bag of rice was sold for N30,000, cartons of Indomie noodles for N4,000, and loaves of bread for N1,500, among other items.

Students from schools across Lagos State, as well as widows, elderly people, traders, and church workers, also received financial support and other forms of empowerment during the programme.

The church said the June 28, 2026, programme was part of its mid-year thanksgiving and outreach activities.
