The Federal House of Representatives aspirant for Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency 2, Prince Nixon Okwara, has joined the good people of Ikeja Federal Constituency and Lagos State in congratulating Hon. James Faleke on his inclusion as a member of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC).
P.M. EXPRESS reports that Hon. Faleke, a leader and member representing Ikeja Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, was recently appointed into the GAC.
Prince Nixon Okwara described the appointment as well-deserved.
“Your record in the House and at the grassroots made this inevitable,” he said.
“This appointment is not a surprise to those of us who know your track record. As a former Executive Chairman at Ojodu, you brought governance down to the ward level. As our Representative in Abuja, you you have been a strong voice for life-changing bills and projects.”
“The Governance Advisory Council needs men who understand both the language of the National Assembly and the language of the village square,” Okwara added.
“When one of us is called to serve at a higher level, we all must support the person to succeed for the sake of our people and the state.”
“Hon. Dr Faleke is a detribalized leader, a politician with a difference. His focus has always been service. His time as Local Government chairman and now in the Federal House has prepared him for this task,” Prince Nixon stated.
Prince Okwara said the Advisory Council would benefit from Faleke’s knowledge of budgets, bills, and the real needs of the people.
He noted that governance requires all hands on deck and pledged to support the lawmaker to succeed in his new role.
“On behalf of my family, my campaign team, and the thousands of constituents who have benefited from his service, I pray for wisdom, courage, and clarity as he takes on this new assignment,” Prince Nixon declared.
