Prince Nixon Okwara has outlined his vision for Oshodi/Isolo Federal Constituency 2 ahead of his aspirations to represent the people in the House of Representatives in 2027.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that Prince Nixon Okwara made the submission as his guiding principle for his aspiration to be nominated to represent Oshodi/Isolo at the Federal level.
This is what he said:
“My greatest aspiration has always been to walk in humility, for as the Scriptures declare, “He that humbleth himself shall be exalted.”Humility is not weakness; it is the quiet strength of those who understand that power is transient, but character endures. Like Socrates implied, true wisdom begins with self-awareness, and I, Prince Nixon Okwara, have devoted my life to that noble pursuit.”
“It has also been my lifelong creed to stand for justice and to confront injustice wherever it appears, regardless of tribe, religion, or social standing. As Aristotle rightly observed, justice is the bond that holds society together, while injustice is the seed from which disorder and division grow. This principle will guide my representation if given the mandate to serve Oshodi/Isolo Federal Constituency 2 in 2027.”
“Above all, my deepest desire is that when my earthly journey is complete, I will be remembered as a detribalized servant of the people — a man who placed humanity above ethnicity, competence above sentiment, and unity above division. This vision has shaped my convictions, my relationships, and my approach to public engagement over the years.”
“For many years, I have supported several candidates and actively participated in political movements across Oshodi-Isolo and Lagos State. Those experiences were not in vain, as they provided me with invaluable lessons in leadership, governance, and the real expectations of our people at the grassroots level.”
“Yet, perhaps the most profound lesson I learned was understanding how _not_ to represent the good people of Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency 2. Leadership is not about empty rhetoric, personal enrichment, or fleeting applause. It is about sacrifice, accountability, and leaving a legacy that outlives one’s tenure in office.”
“I have witnessed firsthand how opportunities for meaningful development in our constituency have been sacrificed on the altar of selfish ambition and political grandstanding. The result has been poor infrastructure, youth unemployment, inadequate healthcare, and a growing disconnect between the people and their representatives in Abuja.”
“Today, the dream that once lived quietly in my heart is gradually taking shape into reality. I, Prince Nixon Okwara, now stand prepared to offer the people of Oshodi/Isolo Federal Constituency 2 a style of representation anchored on humility, justice, inclusion, and purposeful service.”
“My commitment is clear: to be a voice of conscience in the National Assembly — a voice that speaks truth to power, defends the vulnerable, and ensures that federal resources and policies are used for the common good of all constituents, not for the benefit of a privileged few.”
“The people of Oshodi/Isolo Federal Constituency 2 deserve more than a figurehead or a political placeholder. They deserve a representative who listens attentively, acts with integrity, and remains accessible to all, irrespective of background, religion, or political affiliation. Our diversity should be our strength, not our division.”
“As I prepare for the 2027 elections, I do so with a clear mind, a humble spirit, and an unwavering resolve to serve with courage and sincerity. I believe that with unity, transparency, and purposeful leadership, we can transform Oshodi/Isolo Federal Constituency 2 into a model of progress, opportunity, and social justice. Together, we can build a constituency where every citizen feels seen, heard, and valued.”
