The Executive Governor of Anambra State, Professor Charles Soludo, yesterday inspected ongoing road construction project in Oby Okoli Avenue, Okpuno Awka.
Speaking during the Inspection visit, Professor Charles Soludo, who was represented by the Deputy Governor of Anambra State, Dr Onyeka Ibezim, expressed dissatisfaction with the slow pace of work being undertaken by the contractor, stating that the contractor had no excuse not to deliver on time.
He urged the contractor to re-double effort to ensure he deliver quality job within the stipulated contract period as Governor Soludo’s administration is in a hurry to complete all ongoing projects for the overall benefit of the people.
Dr Ibezim added that despite economic challenges in the country, Governor Charles Soludo is determined and committed to his administration’s development agenda aimed at alleviating the suffering of the people.
