Prof Kingsley Moghalu To Speak At 5th Arthur Mbanefo Annual Lecture

Former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria and President of the Institute for Governance and Economic Transformation, Prof Kingsley Moghalu, is billed to speak as the Guest Lecturer at the 5th Arthur Mbanefo Annual Lecture.
The Annual Lecture, which is scheduled to take place at the Arthur Mbanefo Digital Research Centre at the University of Lagos, will hold on Tuesday 11th June, 2024, by 11am.
The theme of the 5th edition is “Education and National Development: Meeting Nigeria’s Challenge in the 21st Century”. The host is Prof Folasade T. Ogunsola, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Lagos, while the event will be chaired by Dr. Tolulope Adewole, the MD, NSIA Advanced Medical Services Limited (MedServe).
The lecture series honours a national icon, Arthur Mbanefo, Odu III of Onitsha, a distinguished Chartered Accountant, who was a Senior Partner in the firm of Akintola Williams & Co, Chairman of the Local Government Creation Committee during the Abacha administration, and later served as Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Nigeria to the United Nations in New York from 1999-2003 under the Obasanjo Presidency.
Renowned diplomat, Chief Arthur Christopher Izuegbunam Mbanefo, CON, turns 94 on 11th June.
