Property Inherited Turns To Bitter Pill For Edo State Man

What supposed to be a thing of joy has turned into big trouble for Mr Raymond Okobia as a property left behind by his late father has now become a source of pain and anguish for him.

The property situated on 14 Eweka Street, Ikpoba Hill, Benin City in Edo State has been a subject of sorrow for Raymond Okobia since the death of his father on January 20 2025.

It was gathered that Raymond has been receiving death threats from some members of his family who claimed he is not worthy to be conferred with such choiced property as an inheritance.

On several occasions he has been attacked and some of the property being damaged.

“These people within the family were not happy and I want to suspect that the death of my father was not ordinary going by the behaviour of these people to me on the property he left behind.

“Some people came to attacked me and my mother at home, they damaged parts of the building. It has been a hell of time for me since my father died.

“I have nowhere to run to, and I am helpless,” Raymond said.
