Purported But Failed Impeachment Of The Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Amarachi Chyna Iwuanyanwu: Chasing The Wind

 I laughed to High Heavens when my attention Was Drawn To A So-called  News Report On Social Media On The Purported Impeachment Of The Deputy Speaker Of The Imo State House Of Assembly, Rt Honourable Amarachi Chyna Iwuanyanwu, Earlier yesterday (02/11/2021).  Not That The Deputy Speaker Cannot Be Removed If His Colleagues Deem It So, But Because As An Experienced Legislative Authority, I Saw Several Loopholes And Embarrassing Lacunae In The Social Media Impeachment. Nevertheless, I Decided To Go To Work And Dig Out The Bone Of Contention.

Firstly, I Called My Contacts, Who Are My Footsoldiers In The State Assembly For Information To Digest….. For The Records, I Served As A Senior Special Assistant On Media At The IMHA, And As The  Senior Special Assistant On Special Duties At The Same IMHA, Some Years Back. So I Perfectly Understand The Rules, And Have Access To Men And Materials In The Legislative Arm Of Government At Any Point In Time. My Findings Confirmed That The Purported Impeachment Of The Deputy Speaker, Amarachi Chyna Iwuanyanwu, Was Mischievously But Poorly Carried Out By The Speaker Of The Assembly, Rt Honourable Paul Emeziem, Who Could Not And Did Not Follow Laid Down Legislative Procedure And Process To Execute His Kangaroo Assignment, Which Was Handed Down To Him By The Enemies And Opposition Political Agitators, Who Have Been Fruitlessly And Clandestinely Plotting To Make Imo State Ungovernable. The Ultimate Goal  Of The Ongoing War Is To Uproot Senator Hope Uzodinma As The Governor Of Imo State. Unfortunately, Speaker Paul Emeziem Nicodemously  Made Himself Available To The Enemies Of The State, While Pretending In The Day To Be A Disciple  Of Governor Hope Uzodinma.

The Question That Comes To Mind Is; Why Did Rt Honourable Paul Emeziem  Agree To Play The “Judas Iscariot” Script Given To Him By The Opposition? And How Much Was He Bankrolled With?

In The First Place, It Is An Acknowledged Fact That The Deputy Speaker Of The State House Of Assembly, Rt Honourable Amarachi Chyna Iwuanyanwu, Is A Commando Disciple Of Governor Hope Uzodinma, Who Has Brought Legislative Responsibility And Independence Of The Legislature, On One Hand, And Harmonious Relationship Between The Executive And The Legislature On The Other Hand. So Any Plot Against The Governor Would Be Dead On Arrival. So  The First Leg Of The Plot Was Hatched, Which Was To Remove The Deputy Speaker, Before Decending On Hope Uzodinma. Unfortunately,  It Was Poorly, Horribly, Hazardly And Laughably Executed. No Wonder It Failed, Even Though It Was Well Funded And Sponsored.

Let Me Open The Minds Of The Reading Public.

The Concluded Ward, Local Government And State Congress Of The Imo APC  Was One Of The Determinant  Factors That Exposed Speaker Paul Emeziem’s Treachery Against The System That  Graciously Produced Him As Speaker Of IMHA. Unarguably, Hope Uzodinma  As The Leader Of APC In Imo State, Was Able To Install His Footsoldiers In The Party, Though He Graciously Allowed Some Leaders To Put Their Supporters In Party Posts. Unfortunately, It Was Discovered That Some Party Positions Given To Paul Emeziem To Fill With His Own Supporters Were Clandestinely Filled With Persons Linked To Those Opposed To The System And Establishment In Government Headed By Hope Uzodinma. Naturally, Politics Played Out,  And Political CHAFFS WERE SEPARATED FROM THE GRAINS DURING THE CONGRESS. The Resultant Effect Was That Governor Hope Uzodinma Consolidated On His Hold On Party Structure, While Those Opposed To Him Lost Out Completely In The Congresses Held.

Also, Because The Main Opposition Party, The PDP,  Was Reportedly Getting Ready For The Battle For The Political Soul Of The State,  Funds Were Mapped  Out For Onslaughts Against The State Government. Feeling “Embarrassed”   That He Lost Out In The Congresses Held In The State, Speaker Paul Emeziem Allegedly Made Himself Available For The PDP,  To Be Used To Execute Uncomfortable  Clandestine  Activities In The State. 

Meetings Were  Held In Lagos And Abuja, With Paul Emeziem In Attendance, For The Destabilization Of The State, Through The Impeachment Of Governor Hope Uzodinma, But First, With The Removal Of Rt Hon Amarachi Chyna Iwuanyanwu As Deputy Speaker Of IMHA, To Clear The Way……….  Funds Were Pulled Together, Both By The Imo PDP And Those Who Lost Out In The Imo APC Congress, And Was Handed Over To Rt Hon Paul Emeziem At Sheraton Hotel Abuja, Totalling $300,000 (Three Hundred Thousand Dollars).

Upon His Return From Abuja And Lagos, Speaker Paul Emeziem Clandestinely Held Meetings With Some Of His Colleagues, Mostly Of The PDP, Who Had Been Briefed Earlier By Their Party Leaders. Thereafter, The Plot To Put Amarachi Chyna Iwuanyanwu Out Of The Way Was Hatched. Before Plenary Was Convened, Announcements Were  Sponsored On  Radio, TV And In Newspapers That Decision Would Be Taken On The Six Suspended Lawmakers On Tuesday 2nd November, 2021.  When The House Reconvened, The Six Suspended Lawmakers Were Recalled, Which Is A Commendable Feat. However, The Member Representing Orsu State Constituency, Acting Out A Script,  Presented A Purported Resolution Claiming That 18 Lawmakers Signed.  He  Did Not State The Reasons The Deputy Speaker Should Be Removed. The So-called  Resolution Was Not Put To Test To Verify Its Perceived Authenticity And Legislative Purity. The Speaker Did Not Put The Purported Resolution To Legislative Vote In The Plenary. In Short, A So Called Resolution That Was Clandestinely Hatched OUTSIDE THE LEGISLATIVE CHAMBER WAS NOT TESTED BY SPEAKER PAUL EMEZIEM ON THE FLOOR OF THE HOUSE.

The Speaker, In A Hurry To Justify The $300,000 He Received For A Hatchet Job, Simply Accepted the Purported Resolution, Thereby Assaulting The LEGISLATIVE PROCESS And Failing In CONSTITUTIONALITY. Obviously, Legislative Due Process Was Recklessly  Neglected, Assaulted, Disrespected And Completely Fouled By Speaker Paul Emeziem, Thereby  Committing An  UNPARLIAMENTARY CONDUCT Offence. 

This Therefore, Has Rendered The Purported Resolution Against The Deputy Speaker, Rt Honourable Amarachi Chyna Iwuanyanwu, Null And Void. Also, After The Purported Impeachment Of The Deputy Speaker, A  Supposed   Replacement Was Not Done. This Is Another Indication That The Exercise Was Null And Void. For Sure, Nature Abhors  Vacuum, So How Come There Is Perceived “Vacuum” In The Clandestine Plot. This Is Another Evidence That Speaker Paul Emeziem Has Exposed His Legislative Inexperience.  Although,  The Purported Resolution Impeachment Of Rt Hon Amarachi Chyna Iwuanyanwu Had Been Foiled, The Public Should Know That The Speaker Provided The  Platform, Framework And Lacunae By Which It Was Made Possible, Through His Inexperience And Incompetence In Executing Legislative Deals. 

There Are Four More Reasons The Purported Impeachment Have Become Null And Void, But As An Authority In Legislative Matters, I Have Decided To Keep Them Close To My Chest,  Since War Has Already Been Declared. 

Rt Honourable Amarachi Chyna Iwuanyanwu Remains The Deputy Speaker Of The Imo State House Of Assembly, And Will SIT IN HIS OFFICE Today (03/11/2021) AS THE DEPUTY SPEAKER.

With His Unparliamentary Conducts In Today’s Plenary, It Is Expected That Rt Honourable Paul Emeziem Would Resign Or Be Impeached As The Speaker Of The Imo State House Of Assembly.
I Stand To Be Challenged.
