Queens At War, As Olori Hadijat Memorial Cup Ends On Sunday

Two Queens will battle for the coveted trophy of the Olori Hadijat Gbadamosi Memorial Female Football Competition.
The battle ground is Igando Palace playground, Alimosho, Lagos on Sunday.
Fowosere Queen Queens will trade tackles with Royal Toms Queens in the final which promises to be exciting.
Speaking ahead of the crucial final, Royal Tons coach, Royal Olajide is optimistic that his girls would come out victorious, boasting that failure to lift the cup would be a serious setback to the team.
“We have come a long way and we cannot afford to lose the trophy to our opponents. Although we respect our opponents but time has come for them to taste their first defeat. My girls are in high spirits, they have been motivated by the club management and they are ready to put smiles on the faces of their fans comes on Sunday, “ he said.
Olajide called on their supporters to give the team necessary support to lift the trophy. He said the game would be tough for both sides, but his team would come out victorious.
“ All we need now is that our supporters should give us total support throughout the game. My players need their support so that they can give their best and achieve desirable result,”he said
In the U-10 male category, Glory Academy will battle Future Stars during the closing ceremony.
Match coordinator, Prince Sulaiman Gbadamosi said the competition which involves female teams had lived up to expectations in terms of player’s performance, standard of play by the participants and good conducts displayed by players since the beginning of the competition. He urged both finalists to shun any vice that can bring the tourney into disrepute.
Among the invited guests expected are Elder David Akere, , Dr Olwusegun Oyeleye and management staff of Mr. fruit drink company
