Ramadan: APGA National Chairman Urges Love, Peace & Unity In Nigeria

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa, has called for “love, peace, and unity” in Nigeria and extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Muslim community as they begin their month of fasting and reflection.

In his message, Barr. Ezeokenwa emphasized the importance of fostering understanding and harmony among all citizens, irrespective of religious beliefs. He implored Muslims to embrace the spirit of Ramadan, which embodies values such as “compassion, empathy, and generosity”.

As the holy month of Ramadan commences, the APGA National Chairman urged Muslims to emulate Prophet Muhammad’s (SAW) example of “humility, forgiveness, and service to others. He called upon Nigerians to imbibe the virtues of “tolerance, respect, and mutual coexistence.

Barr. Ezeokenwa affirmed APGA’s commitment to promoting dialogue, understanding, and collaboration for the betterment of the country, while calling upon governments and the affluent in the spirit of Ramadan to alleviate the hardship on Nigerians.

The APGA National Chairman expressed his optimism for a peaceful and prosperous nation, where diversity is celebrated and unity prevails. He encouraged Nigerians from all walks of life to come together in solidarity and work towards a common goal of building a stronger and more inclusive nation.

He supplicated that the prayers and fasting of our Muslim brothers and sisters during this Ramadan be acceptable to the Almighty Allah and wished Muslims “Ramadan Mubarak.”
