Re: “I Thought Soludo Was Intelligent”

It’s the 8th wonder of the world that Valentine Obienyem can recognize intelligence in people, especially from their speeches at political rallies. Yet, could not do same about his flippant Boss who has become renowned for passing not just unintelligent remarks, but hardfaced falsehoods.

Yesterday’s APGA outing was another great disappointment to Mr Peter Obi who is now venting his frustration through Valentine Obienyem. What can be more unintelligent and indecorous as Peter Obi taking to a public stage to deride Soludo’s age, physical and intellectual virility? Or infer that his Successor, Governor Obiano cannot be found in any serious quarters except drinking bars.
While Peter, at the Idemili South PDP tour, dwelt largely on non-issues, shielding his latest political puppet — Mr Ozigbo — from telling ndi Anambra what he has to offer them, Soludo merely restated known and verifiable facts about Peter’s new political self inflicted ill fate.
It is a known fact that Peter Obi’s mendacious proclivity for control has been the source of his political undoing. From subverting the process in 2017, leading Oseloka Obaze and the PDP to an awful defeat, to his mindless political maneuvering that saw him emerge as the failed Vice Presidential candidate of the PDP in 2019, which other success story has Peter recorded since he left APGA? Or is Valentine Obienyem unaware that Peter Obi publicly vowed never to leave APGA? How does stating these facts affect their truism?
I had earlier adviced Oga Peter not to complain about heat when he has decided to make himself the Chief Cook of the PDP political kitchen. When next Peter Obi leads his political lapdog to a rally he should learn to stay on the issues or risk getting equal and fiercer reprisals on every non-issue he raises.
Soludo does not need Valentine Obienyem’s intelligence rating when he (Valentine) has proven to be of poor judgement in this regard.
