The restaurant brand chains called – Jollof Cafe are located in Sandton, Bryanston, Kyalami and Randpark Ridge in Johannesburg North.
Otunba Toyin Oyekanmi has also implored the Nigerian community in South Africa and across the globe to change the narrative and get inspired by the “Renewed Hope” mantra of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu that would herald a new Nigeria and it is why Nigerians should embrace hard work and not crime, dignity of labour and not the act that will bring shame to the home country – Nigeria.
He said, “As President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is reforming the the country through his “Renewed Hope” Agenda to curb corruption and stagnation to reposition Nigeria for greatness and foster national development, Nigerians across all walks of life should selflessly contribute their quota by being people of unquestionable integrity and agents of societal change for sustainable development at home and abroad”.
Hon. Oyekanmi’s company in South Africa has a policy, where married and unmarried Nigerian women are prioritised in their employment/recruitment process to promote social and financial inclusion.
The company runs a build-operate-lease programme for Nigerians with proven management and entrepreneurial skills. Branches of the restaurant are built in different locations and leased, franchised or sold to Nigerian families to empower them through part ownership, management and enterprise development, which would promote upward mobility of Nigerian families for sustainable development and prosperity in the South Africa economy.
