Rev. Professor Edmund Igboanusi Is Dead!

The Catholic Diocese of Orlu, Imo State, has announced the death of Rev. Professor Edmund Igboanusi, who reportedly died in the early hours of Tuesday, 2nd March, 2021.

Disclosing the news to the clergy, the Catholic Secretariat said, “The Diocese regrets to announce the death of Rev. Professor Edmund Igboanusi. He died this morning in a hospital at Abuja”. 
“Two days ago, he actually spoke with some of us and was sounding healthy.  Only for this bad news to come this morning.”

“Fr. Eddy until his death was the Parish Priest of St. Theresa’s Parish Abba, Nwangele LGA, the Education Secretary of the Diocese and belongs to so many committees in the Diocese.” 

“Remember to celebrate three masses for his peaceful repose. His burial arrangements will be communicated later. May he rest in peace!” Catholic Secretariat, Orlu Diocese concluded.
