Human rights activist and Founder of the Ambassadors for Peace and Enlightenment Foundation, AMPEF, Comrade Saviour Iche, has blasted the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, over derogatory comments against Ndigbo in Lagos State.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the cleric had said in a video, which trended recently, that Ndigbo is the problem of Nigeria and they are cursed and cannot rule Nigeria claiming that it was prophetic message from God.
Primate Ayodele also asserted that the presidency will continue to elude the region regardless of their candidates because Ndigbo are under a curse. The statements have generated wild condemnation from many people who described him as a fake prophet and Primate of doom.
Comrade Saviour Iche wondered if Ayodele was called by God or he called himself by making such unguided comments claiming it was a prophetic message.
Iche reminded Ayodele that Ndigbo have been very successful in all their endeavours and there was no place in the world that the impact of Ndigbo is not felt. He wondered why he would publicly make such statements that Ndigbo is the problem of Nigeria and they are cursed claiming that it was prophetic message.
Comrade Iche stated that Ayodele may be talking from his myopic mind and claiming that to be a Prophet of God.
How can Primate Ayodele say that Ndigbo are cursed and are the problem of Nigeria?”
“Did Ayodele not remember that Igbo was a tribe that was given 20 Pounds after the civil war and from the same paltry sum of money today they are among the richest around the world?”
Iche stated that God did not reveal anything to Ayodele stating that he was speaking from his myopic mind claiming to be a Prophet. He advised him to desist from making irresponsible and unguided comments using the name of God to mislead people claiming that God told him.
