Road Construction: Soludo Sacks Contractor Over Lack Of Capacity

The Executive Governor of Anambra State, Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo, has sacked the contractor handling the construction of Niger Street, Fegge area of Onitsha. 
The Contractor, TEC Engineering Nig Ltd., was saddled to deliver on construction works on the 2.17Km Niger Street, Fegge, Onitsha South Local Government Area of the State, with a 1.1 Km flood control channel.
Today Saturday, 29th July, 2023, Governor Soludo visited the road construction site unnannounced, only to witness negligence and lack of capacity on the part of TEC Engineering Nig Ltd.
With the poor look of things on the site, a very furious Governor Soludo announced the immediate termination of the road project contract while promising that another contractor will be hired to continue with the project in no time.
