Robbers Burgle Boutique, Cart Away N7m Goods

Robbers invaded a popular boutique in Lekki area of Lagos, burgled the place, carted away goods worth about N7m and escaped.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at No.106 Emma Abimbola Street, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, where the boutique was located.
The residents expressed surprise over the incident going by the way robbers committed the crime despite the fact that there was security in place within the area. Some of the residents suspected that the security men might have slept off when the robbers struck that night.
It was gathered that the suspects broke into the boutique, carried seven imported bags containing dresses, shoes and bags worth the amount and escaped. When the management came to the store the next morning, they discovered that the store was burgled and the items were carted away.
The matter was reported to the operatives of FSARS who went into action and arrested one of the suspects. The suspect, Mr. Emmanuel Ogbuche was arrested and charged before Ikeja Magistrates court for conspiracy, burglary and stealing.
He pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Mr. Precious Olatunji did not object Ogbuche’s bail.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. Y.O. Aje-Afunwa granted him bail in the sum of N1m with two sureties in like sum.
However, Ogbuche was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail condition. The matter was adjourned to 16 July, 2018.
