Rohr Finally Drops Moses Simon Out Of World Cup
FRANCIS ACHI/Abuja

Gernot Rohr, the technical adviser of the Super Eagles has finally dropped Moses Simon from the Super Eagles camp as the team prepare to play an international friendly game against England.
There were some controversies over the player being dropped earlier due to the injury he sustained in training in Uyo and the scan test conducted indicated that the hamstring injury will make the petit attacker to be out for at least 5-6 weeks, but Simon insisted that the injury was not that serious and he can recover fully to play a part in the Super Eagles at the World Cup in Russia.
The player was therefore asked to remain in the camp pending the result of another test in London . Unfortunately, the London scan test , slightly different from Uyo test showed that the hamstring injury will sideline him for about 3-4 weeks .
Sadly, Rohr did not want to risk an half fit Simon to the World Cup, so he dropped the former junior international from the team to make it the fifth player dropped from the Super Eagles as Nigerians await the last two players the coach will further axe from the team.
