With the scintilating performance of the Super Eagles on the road to Russia 2018 World Cup where the team has earned 10 points from four games , Hon. Goni Lawal, Chairman, House Committee on Sports has said  that funding is not the problem of the Super Eagles.

Speaking to PM EXPRESS exclusively in Yaoundé after the Super Eagles were forced to 1-1 draw by the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon , the lawmaker assured that the National Assembly will leave nothing to chance to ensure that Nigeria hoist her flag in the biggest football tournament in the world.

” There is no problem of funding with the Super Eagles . The National Assembly has  been appropriating fund to the Sports Ministry, which is judiciously spent by the Nigeria Football Federation  (NFF) for all the games of the Super Eagles,  ” Hon. Lawal said.
